China expands community meal services for seniors nationwide_我的网站

A |     (ECNS) -- China is expanding meal services for older people, with 82,000 service sites nationwide now providing more than 4 million meals to seniors every day, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.     The services are provided by a wide range of organizations, including elderly care providers, businesses and community groups, forming an increasingly diverse service network.        Authorities have also introduced supportive measures, including tax and fee reductions and preferential utility rates, to help ensure the long-term sustainability of the services.    Digital technologies are being used to make the services more convenient.
